Who This Is For
- An older struggling reader who needs a complete reading program built around something they actually care about.
- A homeschool parent who wants one download that covers reading, phonics, science, handwriting, and comprehension for months of sessions.
- A tutor or reading specialist working with an older learner who has refused everything else.
- A parent who has spent years searching for materials that fit a kid who is smart, capable, and just needs something that finally fits.
How to Use It
Start with Story 1. Begin every session with the matching warm up kit — five to ten minutes of sight word stories and movement activities. Then open the main story. Work through one section at a time. Stop and do the activity. Come back.
The series is designed to be worked through in order because each story picks up where the last one left off. The reader who follows Jake from the first cast through the last morning gets something a reader who jumps in at Story 4 cannot get. That payoff is worth starting at the beginning.
Break sessions into 20 to 30 minutes. Repeat what needs repeating. This is a marathon with dyslexia, not a sprint.

Everything I share here came from years of sitting across the table from a kid who learned differently. The printables in the shop are what we actually used. If you are looking for something age appropriate and built for an older struggling reader, start here.

I am a mom sharing our story with dyslexia. This is not professional educational advice. Every child and every family situation is different.
